A FAIR DEAL FOR THE MOTORIST

You can make a difference by letting Transport for London know what you think of Mayor Khan’s anti-motorist proposals (summarised).

NB The MTS consultation formally closed on 2 October 2017, so this page is largely historic. However the MTS issues won’t go away - you can still make a difference on them or other issues.

· You don’t need to reply in detail or at length – but please take a few minutes to send in something!

I object to all the proposals to tax or discourage car use in the Mayor’s Transport Strategy, particularly the idea of extending the Congestion Charge.

· For those with strong feelings on particular topics, we’ve produced a number of standard letters (below) for inspiration. They are text files that you can save and use. Ideally please don’t just copy the wording wholesale – use your own words.

· If you are pushed for time, we recommend the short text bullet points
