A FAIR DEAL FOR THE MOTORIST

DESPITE A BIASED CONSULTATION,

RESIDENTS REJECTED BOROUGH-WIDE 20MPH1

OUR VIEWS WERE NOT RESPECTED.

THIS WEBPAGE RELATES TO A PAST CAMPAIGN

THE TRUTH WE NEED…

Yet LB Hammersmith & Fulham claimed ‘big support’. Many residents felt otherwise – see the dissenting comments on the council webpage.

The campaign to stop borough-wide 20mph has put out a leaflet. (See data protection note below before using) Several residents have written to LBHF against the proposal.

The following replies (see right) have been received from Cllrs Stephen Cowan and Wesley Harcourt, and would be obtainable anyway under Freedom of Information legislation with the same editing for privacy.

We feel – with evidence – that the facts indicate differently, and have issued the following rebuttal (PDF) – which quotes from the replies. Please feel free to circulate it, quoting this website.

Most of the replies quoted from or attached the 2014 Labour manifesto (‘The Change We Need’) so a link is provided.

If we receive an interesting response, this page will be updated

Also of relevance is an email from Cllr Harcourt last year concerning LBHF’s intentions. (The recipient email address is now out-of-date)
